 K-WORKERS DIVISION

   K-Workers Divison

IN LINE with the growing needs for skilled workers in the ICT industries, the K-Workers Division at KPerak has been entrusted to develop a talent pool of quality knowledge workers (K-Workers) to support the development of these industries.

Therefore, our training courses are focused and catered for MIND - Multimedia, IT Outsourcing, New Media and Data Centre - industries.

A major part of our offers incorporate the element of technopreneurship that include ICT finishing school programs, IT technical & practical trainings, creative multimedia courses, apprenticeships and internships in animation cluster.

Local ICT graduates are offered to hone their ICT knowledge and skills to achieve industries' requirements while non-ICT graduates and professionals are welcome and encouraged to take up new ICT skills and maximize their potential, preparing them a greater career prospect in ICT.

Opportunities are provided here through subsidized education to enhance livelihoods and at the same time to develop and grow industries.

Further steps have also been taken by providing complementary assistance to increase K-Workers' personal strengths and enhance employability through career guidance talks and seminars.

In addition, we examine current trends and issues involving jobseekers through networking and forum sessions with local industry players to match the right people for the right industry.

As we continue to develop the pool of talents in Perak, it is vital to inculcate the learning culture among Perakians in enhancing ICT knowledge and skills to increase productivity and quality of their works and lives.

This includes providing digital literacy and exposure to the Internet, new media and e-commerce to civil servants, professionals, NGOs, teaching staff and students.
