Parked under CEO's Office, the K-Economy Division is responsible to facilitate investors, technopreneurs, industries, businesses and stakeholders into successfully growing their business in MSC Cybercentre @ Meru Raya. This division will assist in securing capital funding, pre-seed funds and other grants provided by governments.

When Perak transforms into a K-State in 2015, the economic system of the state is envisioned to become:

• a base of innovation and creation or commercialization of ideas
• reverses serious imbalances in trade through high value added goods and services
• stronger agriculture, manufacturing, mining and services
• application of new technologies and re-skilling of the workforce
• development of emerging industries such as biotechnology, ICT and environmental management
• expand export opportunities in service industries
• support the provision of leading edge telecommunications, transport and primary infrastructure
• promote energy efficiency, higher living standards and creation of jobs

Besides the 10 Bill of Guarantees provided by MSC Malaysia to all MSC status companies, KPerak offers KPerak Physical Incentives, KPerak Land Incentives and KPerak Human Capital Incentives for any ICT companies that invest in Perak.

Meanwhile, MSC Malaysia Cybercentre @ Meru Raya also offers MSC@Perak Relocation Incentives, MSC@Perak Market Access Incentives and MSC@Perak Financial Incentives for MSC Status companies located within the MSC Malaysia Cybercentre@ Meru Raya, Perak. The state government offers four types of incentives to technopreneurs and investors to support the ICT development in the State. They are:

a) Financial Incentive that includes financial assistance in the form of co-investment funds by the State Government and venture capitals for value added services.

b) Technology Incentive includes an Online Technology match to match make technopreneurs and technology updates.

c) Business Assistance & Marketing Incentives is where the State will help to facilitate networking alliances with local SMIs, providing marketing support and through seminars and business matching.

d) Land Incentives will be where affordable land will be provided at attractive prices for investors especially for those in the promoted fields of creative multimedia, shared services outsourcing and education.
