As the implementation and coordination corporation, KPerak INC Corporation’s roles are to promote Perak as the preferred ICT investment destination, advise the Perak State Government on policies, develop MSC Malaysia practices, multimedia operations, supporting companies located in the area as well as promoting MSC Malaysia Cybercentre @ Meru Raya locally and globally.
With a strong history of tin mines making the Silver State one of the most glorious states in Malaysia. Now with abundance of human capital and brain power, we are ready and all geared up to steer the State towards our first vision: KPerak 2010 through MIND industries. KPerak 2010 Key Programs and Projects will be held through five Strategic Development Programs – K-Government, K-Infrastructure, K-Society, K-Economy and K-Workers.
With the MSC Malaysia Cybercentre @ Meru Raya as one of our initiative projects under K-Infrastructure, we at KPerak INC Corporation are determined to turn Perak around and transform it back into its former glorious state. KPerak INC Corporation is paying a lot of attention into promoting ICT in Perak through tourism, property development, creative content, biotechnology, agriculture, forestry, industrialization, manufacturing, education and many more other sectors.
Laid down by a visionary ICT Strategic Blueprint – KPerak 2010, the State will slowly be transformed into a Knowledge State through the four ICT economic sub-sectors which has been initiated for development.
MULTIMEDIA CONTENT
is where the usage of multiple forms of information content and processing to inform or also to entertain the user/audience. Multimedia is the combination of several content forms of text, audio, still images, animation, video and interactivity.
IT OUTSOURCING
is the delegation of non-core operations or jobs from an internal production within a business to an external entity that specialises in those operations. IT involves transferring or sharing management control and sometimes the decision making which includes a two-way information exchange, coordination and trust between the outsourcer and its client.
NEW MEDIA
refers to the use of the latest electronic media and human communication to fulfil the same basic social need to interact and transact daily through the creative use of technology. This includes online art, sculptures,gallery and museum installations. The new media industry share a close association with many market segments in areas such as software/video game design, television, radio and also marketing and advertising.
DATA SERVICES
includes a Data Centre and Recovery Services. The Data Centre is a facility used to house mission critical computer systems and associated components. It generally includes environmental controls such as air conditioning, fire suppression and etc., redundant and back out power supplies and also high security.
As our main role is to develop human capital, supporting companies, promote ICT and so forth, with this, KPerak INC Corporation develops ICT as an enabler and delivers results through what we call smart partnerships and collaborations with local and international companies. While many businesses still face problems with collaborations, we at KPerak INC Corporation see many joint intellectual possibilities leading to benefits such as efficient time management, higher involvement of separate parties, specialised expertise, encouragement of innovation of products, services and processes.
